The RICH team welcomes you at Shanghai airport and accompanies you to camp at East China Normal University. Unpack, freshen up and take time to rest. Teachers help everyone find their feet, from getting to know the campus to learning a new friend’s name.

老师在上海机场迎接大家，陪同前往华东师范大学营地。安顿行李、洗漱休整，跟着老师慢慢熟悉校园，也记住第一位新伙伴的名字，让远道而来的第一天从安心开始。

Gather for a Shanghai welcome dinner with fellow campers, including friends arriving from Beijing. Exchange hometown stories, discover a shared interest and hear about the adventures already begun. Your own Shanghai chapter starts with a place at the same table.

欢迎晚宴上，和新伙伴围坐一桌，也认识刚从北京来到上海的营员。交换家乡与爱好，听听他们一路带来的趣事，找到一个都想继续聊的话题，让自己的上海篇章从同桌相识开始。

Get to know your Chinese group during a three-hour lesson, with teachers finding the right starting point for each learner. Practise inviting someone to join a game, listening for a simple instruction and using the short calls that help a team play together.

上午3小时中文课中，老师了解每个孩子的中文基础，安排适合的学习起点。练习邀请伙伴加入游戏、听懂运动口令，从一句邀请到一次配合，为下午的校园交流做好准备。

Get to know the ECNU campus and visit its museum before meeting university students on the playing field. Use Chinese to call for a pass, coordinate with teammates and cheer each other on, finding shared interests through the games you play together.

熟悉华师大校园，参观校内博物馆，再和大学生一起到操场运动。在传球与配合中用中文交流、加油，从共同喜欢的运动聊起，认识新朋友。

After dinner, teachers organise a group swimming session suited to the students and venue rules. Enjoy time in the water, unwind after the day's activities and settle into the rhythm of campus life.

晚餐后，由老师结合场地规则和学生情况组织分组游泳。在水中活动、放松身体，享受和伙伴相处的校园时光，再返营休息。

Learn how to ask about ingredients, describe flavours and request a cooking tip in Chinese. Practise putting a few steps in order, ready to learn from a dumpling chef in the afternoon.

中文课上练习问食材、说口味，也试着向师傅请教做法。用“先、再、最后”把几个步骤连起来，为下午的小笼包体验备好词句。

In Yuyuan’s old streets, join a xiaolongbao masterclass led personally by the chef. Watch each fold, then shape your own dumplings with patient, hands-on guidance. There is time to ask, try again and enjoy the delight of making something together.

走进豫园老城厢，上一堂由小笼包师傅亲自带教的大师课。看师傅示范捏褶，再自己动手；哪里没掌握，师傅就耐心拆解、陪着再试，让每个孩子都享受学手艺的乐趣。

Compare characters, styles and designs in Chinese class. Practise saying what you like and why, then try asking a classmate about a different choice and listening for something you had not noticed.

中文课上比较角色与设计，练习把“我喜欢”说得更具体。听听同学为什么选择另一个角色，试着问一句，也发现自己没注意过的细节。

Step into Bailian ZX's world of anime, collectibles and character design. Begin a conversation through a shared favourite and hear what interests young people in China, including the choices that differ from your own.

走进百联ZX，逛逛潮玩与动漫空间，从共同喜欢的角色聊起。听听中国年轻人的兴趣与想法，发现相同趣味，也认识不一样的选择。

Practise describing a view and comparing old and new in Chinese. Choose words for a detail that catches your eye, and prepare a few lines of commentary for the city scenes you will encounter.

中文课上练习描述风景、比较今昔。可以从“我看到”说起，也可以试着解释一个喜欢的细节，为下午的城市镜头准备中文解说。

Take a midday break after lunch before setting off along the river. Bring a question about the city, a few useful words and time to look closely at what others might walk past.

午餐后安排午间休整，再带着观察问题出发。想想自己最想了解的城市细节，也准备几个词，留心那些平时可能匆匆走过的风景。

Follow Suzhou Creek past Sihang Warehouse, Waibaidu Bridge and the Broadway Mansions. After dinner, board a Huangpu River cruise and watch the lights unfold on both banks, comparing the city's older streets with its modern skyline.

沿苏州河看四行仓库、外白渡桥与上海大厦，读一读城市留下的故事。晚餐后乘船夜游黄浦江，看两岸灯火铺开，让老街与新天际线相遇。

Explore Shanghai Disney in teacher-led groups and step into the stories you love with your campmates. Rehearse a conversation about a favourite character, then meet fellow fans along the way, discovering how a shared interest can open the door to Chinese conversation.

老师分组带队畅玩上海迪士尼，和伙伴走进喜欢的童话世界。先练练怎样聊一个喜欢的角色，再在游园途中认识同好，让共同的兴趣成为主动用中文交流的理由。

Enjoy lunch and dinner inside the park, with breaks to rest and regroup along the way. Return to camp after the visit and share the happiest moments of your day with friends.

园区内安排午晚餐，游玩间隙坐下来休息、补充体力。结束后随老师返营，一起回味今天最开心的瞬间，也给身体留出休息时间。

Continue the usual three-hour Chinese class, learning to ask an artisan for a tip and describe a pattern or a use. Choose a detail from your first week in Shanghai that you would like to make part of a handmade keepsake.

上午照常安排3小时中文课，练习向手艺人请教，介绍图案与用途。想想这一周最喜欢的上海细节，准备把它做进自己的手作纪念品。

Enjoy lunch on campus and a restful break before the afternoon outing. Look through the notes and small discoveries you have collected, and choose a story to share with friends at dinner.

校内午餐后短休，为下午的手艺体验养足精神。翻翻这一周的记录与发现，选一个想在晚餐时分享给伙伴的小故事。

Explore Tianzifang’s shikumen lanes and learn traditional paper-cutting with an artisan’s patient guidance. Turn a Shanghai impression into a small creation of your own. At dinner, celebrate the friendships formed this week and say farewell to friends completing their two-city journey, carrying their stories into the adventures still ahead.

走进田子坊石库门弄堂，在手艺人的耐心指导下体验传统剪纸，把一个上海印象做成自己的小作品。晚宴上分享这周结下的友谊，为即将结束双城旅程的伙伴送上祝福，也带着他们的故事继续接下来的探索。

Learn how to describe an action, give a clear instruction and ask how something works in Chinese. Try a short sequence with a classmate and notice what happens when a direction needs to be more precise.

中文课上练习描述动作、发出清楚的指令，也学着追问“它是怎么做到的”。先和同学试一组动作，看看怎样把一句话说得更准确，让对方听懂。

Meet humanoid robots at Shanghai’s Humanoid Robot 4S Centre. Watch how they move and respond, try the guided interactions and ask staff about the work behind a seemingly simple action. Compare what you imagined a robot could do with what you discover face to face.

走进上海人形机器人4S中心，近距离观察机器人的动作与回应，在工作人员指导下参与互动。向他们问问一个看似简单的动作背后需要怎样的训练，再和伙伴比较：眼前的机器人，和自己想象的一样吗？

Compare heights, uses and ways of living in Chinese class. Practise moving beyond “tall” or “beautiful” to explain a detail you have noticed and why it matters to people using the city.

中文课上比较高度、用途与生活方式，试着把“很高”“很好看”说得更具体。选一个注意到的城市细节，练习解释它和人们的生活有什么关系。

Go up Shanghai Tower and look across the river, bridges and buildings of Lujiazui. Trace a route from the streets you have explored to the skyline around you, and imagine the journeys people make through this city every day.

登上上海中心，俯瞰陆家嘴与黄浦江两岸。找找这些天走过的街道，看看桥梁怎样连接不同的城区，想象生活在这里的人每天怎样穿行于这座立体城市。

Learn to explain what something is for and compare two ways of solving a problem. Begin with an everyday difficulty—a repetitive task or a moment when someone needs help—and prepare a question you would like to explore.

中文课上练习介绍用途、比较不同办法。从一个日常小难题开始：反复要做的事情，或某个需要帮助的时刻，把好奇心整理成下午想问的问题。

Enjoy lunch on campus and a midday break. Teachers help groups revisit useful words and divide the observation tasks, so everyone has something to look for and a way to contribute.

校内午餐后安排午间休整。出发前，老师带大家回顾关键词、分好观察任务，让每个人都有想找的答案，也有能参与的一部分。

Visit the Future Experience Hall at Zhangjiang Robot Valley and explore how AI and robotics connect with daily life. Ask the guide what a demonstration is designed to do, then discuss with friends who might find it useful and what you would want to improve.

走进张江机器人谷未来体验馆，看看AI与机器人怎样进入日常生活。向讲解员请教一个展示是为了解决什么问题，再和伙伴讨论：谁会用到它？如果由自己来设计，还想改进什么？

Travel to Zhujiajiao and step into a different rhythm beside the canals. Cross Fangsheng Bridge and explore North Street with your teachers, watching the little moments around waterside shops and listening for the stories behind a local snack.

前往朱家角，沿着河道走进另一种城市节奏。跟老师走过放生桥、逛逛北大街，看沿河小店的一日光景，也听听一种水乡小吃背后的故事。

Sit down to a waterside-style home-cooked lunch and a restful break. At the Qing Dynasty Post Office, write a Chinese postcard: a few words about the bridge, a sketch of a boat or a longer note to someone you wish could share the view.

坐下来享用水乡家常午餐，短休后到大清邮局写一张中文明信片。可以写几个关于石桥的词、画一条小船，也可以给想念的人多写几句，分享此刻眼前的江南。

Take a traditional sculled boat through the waterways, watching white walls and dark tiled roofs reflected in the water. Compare the view with Shanghai’s high-rise skyline and collect a quiet moment for your travel diary. Enjoy dinner in the water town before returning to camp.

乘摇橹船穿过河道与石桥，看白墙黛瓦在水中轻轻展开。和上海的高楼天际线比较一下，把一段慢下来的风景留进旅行日记；享用水乡晚餐后，再随老师返回营地。

Gather your Shanghai discoveries during Chinese class, from a robot’s movement to a city scene. Practise explaining what interested you and prepare a question for the Beijing campers you will soon meet in Xi’an.

中文课上整理这些天的上海发现，从机器人的一个动作，到城市生活中的一个细节，练习说清楚自己为什么感兴趣。也为即将在西安见面的北京营伙伴准备一个问题。

Explore Chinese technology brands and ask how a product works in everyday use. Back at camp, connect with the Beijing group to exchange discoveries and plan a shared question for Xi’an. The names on the screen will soon become friends beside you in Chang’an.

体验中国科技品牌，向工作人员问问一个产品功能怎样用在生活里。返营后与北京营伙伴连线，交换两座城市的发现，也约定一个到西安共同寻找答案的问题。屏幕里的名字，很快就会成为一起走进长安的朋友。

Begin with the usual three-hour Chinese class, looking back at your Shanghai learning and preparing a short account of a discovery. The final hour, within the lesson, is set aside for the end-of-course Chinese assessment.

上午照常安排3小时中文课，回顾上海所学，整理一个想分享的发现。最后1小时在课内完成中文结业测评，看看这些天自己已经能用中文表达什么。

After lunch on campus and a short rest, celebrate your work at the graduation ceremony. Share a conversation, handmade piece or idea that made Shanghai your own, then pack for Xi’an. The questions you practised in a modern city will travel with you into an ancient one.

校内午餐、短休后参加结业典礼，分享一场交流、一件手作或一个让自己印象深刻的想法。随后整理行李，准备前往西安；在摩登城市里练出的提问勇气，也将陪自己走进古都的故事。

Travel to Shanghai Station with the teachers and have dinner there before boarding the overnight sleeper to Xi’an. Settle your luggage and make yourself comfortable in a first-class sleeping berth, ready to meet the ancient capital and your Beijing friends the next morning.

随老师前往上海站，先在车站吃好晚餐，再乘夜卧列车前往西安。安顿好行李与一等卧床铺，在列车上休息，带着上海的发现，迎接次晨的古都与北京伙伴。

Arrive at Xi’an Station in the morning and head to the hotel with your teachers. Shower, put your bags away and take a short rest after the night on the train. Then meet the Beijing campers in person and begin your shared Chang’an adventure.

早晨抵达西安站后，先随老师到酒店洗澡、安顿行李，安排短休，从夜间列车慢慢转入白天的节奏。随后和北京营伙伴见面，让连线中的相识变成一起出发的长安之旅。

Learn to make biangbiang noodles directly from a noodle master, watching the stretch before trying it yourself. Ask about a step, take on the playful challenge of writing “biang”, then enjoy your handmade noodles for lunch.

跟着师傅亲手学做biangbiang面，先看拉伸示范，再自己动手试一试。请教一个步骤，挑战写写有趣的“biang”字，午餐品尝自己的劳动成果。

Visit the Terracotta Warriors and look closely at the soldiers' faces, armour and individual details. Continue to a terracotta workshop, where you can shape a small warrior of your own and give it a Chinese introduction.

参观兵马俑，仔细观察俑人的表情、铠甲与不同细节。再走进兵马俑工坊，亲手制作一个小俑人，把看见的特点做进作品，也试着用中文介绍它。

Return to the city for an outing on the ancient city wall. Teachers arrange cycling groups by age and ability; campers better suited to walking enjoy the towers and city views on foot with the team.

返回市区，登上古城墙迎一迎晚风。老师按年龄与骑行能力分组安排自行车骑行；更适合步行的孩子随队漫步，看看城楼与古今西安的风景。

Explore the streets around the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the illuminated promenade of Datang Buyucheng. Pause for street performances and a friendly Chinese exchange, then return to the hotel with your teachers for a good night’s rest.

晚餐后夜游大雁塔周边与大唐不夜城，漫步灯火街区，欣赏街头表演。在老师带领下和人聊几句，把中文带进长安夜色，再回酒店好好休息。

Dress in hanfu and enter the Chang’an Twelve Hours themed district in mixed Shanghai–Beijing groups. Teachers help you rehearse greetings and questions, then try them with in-character performers as you follow clues and explore the streets with your new friends.

换上汉服，和京沪两地伙伴混编组队走进长安十二时辰主题街区。老师先陪大家练练问候与提问，再和NPC聊角色、问线索、接话，和新朋友一起沿着线索探索街巷。

After lunch in the district and a short rest, make a traditional shadow puppet with an artisan's guidance. Give your character a Chinese line, rehearse with friends and bring a short time-travel story to the screen.

街区午餐、短休后，跟手艺人制作非遗皮影。为亲手做的角色写一句中文台词，和伙伴排练、接话，再让它登场，演一小段穿越故事。

Take a short stroll through the Muslim Quarter, tasting local snacks and asking vendors about ingredients and flavours. Look for a souvenir with a story and practise explaining why it caught your attention to a friend.

前往回民街，小逛街巷、尝尝地道小吃，向店家问问食材与口味。选一份有故事的纪念品，也把喜欢它的理由讲给伙伴听，留一点西安的日常记忆。

Say goodbye to your Beijing friends, return the hanfu and collect your luggage before travelling to Xi’an Station with your teachers. Have a warm dinner at the station, then settle into a first-class berth on the overnight sleeper back to Shanghai, taking your shared stories into the journey home.

和北京伙伴互道珍重，归还汉服、取好行李后，随老师前往西安站。先吃好车站晚餐，再乘夜卧列车一等卧返沪，把共同经历的长安故事带进归途。

Arrive at Shanghai Songjiang Station and continue with the teachers to freshen up, shower and rest. Take time to sort your luggage and keep your handmade pieces and Chinese memories ready to share with family.

抵达上海松江站后，由老师接车，集中安排洗澡、休整与整理行李。收好亲手做的作品与一路留下的中文记录，准备和家人分享。

Reunite with parents at the agreed time, or travel to the airport with the team according to the confirmed flight plan. Say goodbye to campmates with a story of your own—from a first conversation in Shanghai to a little play performed with new friends in Chang’an.

按约定时间与家长见面，或依照确认好的航班安排由老师送机。和伙伴用中文告别，也带走一个属于自己的故事：从在上海的第一次开口，到和新朋友一起演出的长安小剧场。
